Prof. Victor Chang
Aston University, United Kingdom

Prof. Victor Chang is currently a Professor of Business Analytics at Aston Business School, Aston University, UK. He was a Professor of Data Science and Information Systems at SCEDT, Teesside University, Middlesbrough, UK, between September 2019 and May 2022. He was a Senior Associate Professor, Director of Ph.D. (June 2016- May 2018) and Director of MRes (Sep 2017 - Feb 2019) at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China, between June 2016 and August 2019. He was also a very active and contributing key member at Research Institute of Big Data Analytics (RIBDA), XJTLU. He was an Honorary Associate Professor at University of Liverpool. Previously he was a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, UK, between Sep 2012 and May 2016. Within 4 years, he completed Ph.D. (CS, Southampton) and PGCert (Higher Education, Fellow, Greenwich) while working for several projects at the same time. Before becoming an academic, he has achieved 97% on average in 27 IT certifications. He won a European Award on Cloud Migration in 2011, IEEE Outstanding Service Award in 2015, best papers in 2012, 2015 and 2018, the 2016 European special award and Outstanding Young Scientist 2017. He is a visiting scholar/Ph.D. examiner at several universities, an Editor-in-Chief of IJOCI & OJBD journals, former Editor of FGCS, Associate Editor of IEEE TII, JGIM, IJBSR, IJEBM & Cyber Security & Apps. He's also an Editor of Information Fusion, IDD and Scientific Reports journal, a founding chair of two international workshops and founding Conference Chair of IoTBDS and COMPLEXIS since Year 2016. He is the founding Conference Chair for FEMIB since Year 2019. He published 3 books as sole authors and the editor of 2 books on Cloud Computing and related technologies. He gave 48 keynotes at international conferences. He is widely regarded as one of the most active and influential young scientists and experts in IoT/Data Science/Cloud/security/AI/IS, as he has experience developing 10 different services for multiple disciplines.

Prof. Patrick C. K. Hung
Faculty of Business and IT, Ontario Tech University, Canada

Patrick C. K. Hung is a Professor and Graduate Program Director of Computer Science at Ontario Tech University, Faculty of Business and Information Technology. He is a Leverhulme Visiting Professor at Aston University, England, and an Honorable Guest Professor at Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan. He was also a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Abertay University, Scotland, and a Visiting Researcher at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Hung worked with Boeing Research and Technology in Seattle on aviation services-related research with two U.S. patents on the mobile network dynamic workflow system. Before that, he was a Research Scientist with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization. He is a founding member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Services Computing and IEEE Transactions on Services Computing. In addition, he is an editorial board member for the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Managemen.




Dr. Noman Sohail
University of East London, UK

Dr. Noman Sohail has established a strong foundation in Computer Science and Technology, with research interests in areas such as Data Mining, Public and Environmental Health, Infectious Diseases, Bioinformatics, and Technology Management. He has received a Doctorate (PhD, 2016–2020) in Computer Science and Technology from Yanshan University in China. In addition, he holds an M.Sc. (2012–2013) in Technology Management and a B.Sc. with honors (2009–2012) in Computer Sciences from the University of East London, UK. His knowledge on bigdata for data analysis methods, including filtering, featuring, classification, and clustering, has allowed him to make significant contributions to the field of scientific research. His Public health experience involves the study of infectious diseases like Diabetes and Cancer. Furthermore, for Environmental health, he has worked on wastewater and plant research projects such as Antimicrobial Resistance, Antibiotic Resistance Genes, and Mobile Genetic Elements. His skills, experience, and accomplishments, together with his ability to drive innovation and dedication to produce exceptional results, make him a valuable asset for any organization.

Prof. Calton Pu
Georgia Tech University, USA

Dr. Calton Pu is a Professor and John P. Imlay, Jr. Chair in Software, College of Computing of Georgia Tech University, USA, Director of Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS) and Ph.D. of Computer Science and Engineering, U. Washington. As an IEEE fellow, Calton's research interests are in the areas of distributed computing, Internet data management, and operating systems. In distributed systems, his focus is on extended transaction processing, system survivability, and internet applications. In operating systems, he is applying the idea of specialization. Comparing with usual centralized systems, distributed and parallel systems softwares display unique characteristics in distance, complexity, extensibility, concurrency and availability. Making software handle these problems in a reliable and efficient way is the emphasis of Calton Pu's work. In the Infosphere project, he is developing concepts and software for Internet-scale applications driven by information flow such as real-time decision support, digital libraries, and electronic commerce. His current projects include cloud computing (WISE/Elba project) and dynamic analytics (GRAIT-DM project) research.

Prof. Dr. Anna Kobusinska
Poznań University of Technology, Poland

Dr. Anna Kobusinska received her M.Sc., Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in computer science from Poznań University of Technology, in 1999, 2006 and 2019, respectively. She currently works as University Professor at the Laboratory of Computing Systems, Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, Poznań University of Technology, Poland. She is a Member of the Discipline Council of Information and Communication Technology and a Board Member of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
Her research interests include large-scale distributed systems, service-oriented, cloud computing, and edge computing. In her work, she focuses on distributed algorithms, Big Data analysis, reliability of distributed processing, specifically consistency models and replication techniques, challenges associated with the use of blockchain technology, and the edge intelligence.
She has served and is currently serving as a GC, PC and TPC member of several international conferences and workshops. She is also author and co-author of many publications in high quality peer reviewed international conferences and journals. She has participated in various research projects supported by national and EC organizations in collaboration with academic institutions and industrial partners.









Prof. Dr. Flávia C. Delicato
Fluminense Federal University, Brazil

Flávia C. Delicato received her PhD from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2005 and her Doctoral Thesis was selected as one of the six best in the year by the Brazilian Computer Society. She is an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the Fluminense Federal University, Brazil where she teaches for undergraduate and post-graduate courses, and integrates the MídiaCom Research Lab. In 2010 and 2016 she was at the University of Sydney as a visiting researcher, and she integrates the Centre for Distributed and High Performance Computing from the University of Sydney (http://sydney.edu.au/distributed_computing/). She is a Level 1 Researcher Fellow of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). She has 2 books and over 200 published papers. She currently serves as Senior Associate Editor of the ACM Computer Surveys, Area Editor of the IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society and Associate Editor of the Ad hoc Networks, ITU Journal on Future and Evolving Technologies and Journal of Interconnection Networks. She has served as a member of the organizing and program committees of several international conferences. She has been coordinating and participating in several R&D projects with funding from International and Brazilian government agencies. Since 2017 she is a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Smart World – SWTC (http://www.cybermatics.org/swtf/indexTC.html). She is a Co-Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Hyper-Intelligence (https://ieee-hyperintelligence.org/index). Her main research interests are Internet of Things and cyber-physical systems, adaptive middleware, Edge/Fog Computing, sensor and network virtualization, and resource management.





Associate professor. BinChen
Lijiang culture and tourism college,China

Associate Professor, presided over the science and technology fund project and science and Technology Department Project of Yunnan Provincial Department of education. He has published academic papers such as time sensitive collaborative filtering algorithm based on restricted random walk, application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of network security, nearest neighbor query method for road network data protection based on spatial confusion, similarity measurement algorithm and data application of multi node network time series data, grey evaluation model and algorithms of computer network attack More than 20 academic papers, such as analysis of neural network algorithms in computer network model, on protection strategies for computer network information security and its key technologies, have participated in the construction of a number of digital projects of Lijiang municipal government, Yunnan Province, including the "smart brain" of Lijiang ancient city, the intelligent science popularization exhibition and education project of Lijiang science and Technology Museum Digital platforms such as Lijiang epidemic prevention and control platform, Lijiang regional rational drug use monitoring and prescription circulation service platform, and Lijiang national health information platform construction project have put forward professional opinions for the construction of local digital projects, especially effective and feasible solutions for user privacy, information transmission security and network security in the system platform.

Prof. Yongxin Zhu
University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China

Dr. Zhu joined Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as a full Professor in 2017. He is also an Adjunct Professor with the School of Microelectronics at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He has published over 150 English journal and conference papers, 50 Chinese journal papers and 20 China patent approvals in the areas of computer architecture, embedded systems, big data processing and blockchain. With over 1000 citations of these work in recent years, he has received recognition in China and Asia with IEEE best paper awards and Shanghai innovation award. To date, he has received over 20 million RMB in grants from various funding agencies and industrial partners in China. Prior to his tenure with CAS and SJTU, he worked as a research fellow with National University of Singapore in 2002-2005, a senior consultant with S1 Incorporation (inventor of the 1st Internet banking in the world) in 1999-2002 and a teaching assistant with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SJTU in 1994-1995. He is a guest editor of Journal of Systems Architecture, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation (CCF) and Blockchain Technical Committee of CCF. He was also a Visiting Professor with National University of Singapore in 2013-2017.

Dr. Jane (Wenping Xu)
Binhai School of Foreign Affairs of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, China

Dr. Wenping (Jane) Xu is a Ph.D. holder in Management from Tianjin University, China, as well as a Master's degree holder in Economics. She is also certified as an Economic Engineer in Technical Economics and Management by the local Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Currently, she serves as a lecturer in the Department of Management at the Binhai School of Foreign Affairs of Tianjin Foreign Studies University. With a strong educational background from a prestigious 985&211 key university, Dr. Jane Xu had gained six years of practical experience in enterprise management. She had held positions of high responsibility in prominent companies, including serving as a management reserve cadre and marketing manager in Eastern Software Group, which is ranked among the Top 100 Global Software Companies and the Top 20 Chinese Companies with Global Competitiveness. Moreover, she worked as the operations manager of the International O2O Platform Division for Tai Fu Heavy Equipment Group, a global leader in intelligent manufacturing and integrated engineering services. Dr. Jane Xu also served as an assistant to the President and marketing director in Huipeng Developing Group, where her role involved international marketing, overseas investment and acquisitions (in Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, and other countries), international trade procurement management, as well as multinational enterprise establishment and management. In 2016, Dr. Jane Xu made a transition back to academia and till now has accumulated almost ten years teaching experience in education and teaching, with cumulative teaching hours exceeded 4320 sessions. She has taught various courses including Management Information Systems, E-Government, Introduction to International Business Management, Marketing, Business English, Operations Management, and more. Dr. Jane Xu has published seven Chinese academic papers in core and national-level journals such as Tianjin University Journal, Journal of Xidian University, and China Science and Technology Education, etc. Additionally, she has presented many English academic papers at conferences such as the Second World Electrical and Control Engineering Conference and International Conference on Information Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. She has participated in research projects funded by the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Program, China Association for Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education. Some of her research topics include the analysis and governance of corruption in universities based on stakeholders' interests.

Prof. Hong Yu
Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Hong Yu is a professor of Intelligence Science and Technology at College Computer Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. She is interested in rough sets, three-way decisions, cluster analysis, industry big data, automation of knowledge, Web intelligence, data mining and intelligent information processing. Her researches have been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She received a Chongqing Natural Science and Technology Award. She has published serval books and some peer-reviewed research articles. Her paper was selected as one of Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journal of China.

Dr. Simon Fong
University of Macau, China

Simon Fong graduated from La Trobe University, Australia, with a First Class Honours BEng. Computer Systems degree and a PhD. Computer Science degree in 1993 and 1998 respectively. Simon is now working as an Associate Professor at the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Macau. He is also one of the founding members of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Research Group in the Faculty of Science and Technology.  Prior to his academic career, Simon took up various managerial and technical posts, such as systems engineer, IT consultant and e-commerce director in Australia and Asia. Dr. Fong has published over 300 international conference and peer-reviewed journal papers, mostly in the areas of data mining and optimization algorithms.






Dr. Gaurav Dhiman

Dr. Gaurav Dhiman received his Ph. D. in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He has completed his Master Degree of Computer Applications from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala. He was selected as an outstanding reviewer from Knowledge-Based Systems (Elsevier). He has published more than 200 peer-review research papers (indexed in SCI-SCIE) and 10 international books. He is senior member of IEEE. He is also serving as the guest editor of more than thirty special issues in various peer-reviewed journals. He is also in editorial board members of Current Chinese Computer Science (Bentham Science), Current Dissertations (Bentham Science), Journal of Fuzzy Logic and Modeling in Engineering (Bentham Science), Journal of the Institute of Electronics and Computer (IEC Science), Journal of PeerScientist, Artificial Intelligence Evolution, Acta Scientific Computer Sciences. Dr. Vitor Jesus
Aston University, United Kingdom

Dr. Vitor Jesus has 20 years of experience split between Industry and Academia. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and industry certifications in Cyber Security and Data Privacy. Having held lead technical roles at large and small organisations, he currently holds lectureship positions in Cyber Security and Privacy. He is the founder of PrivDash with a new approach to Data Protection, the mentor and lead in several funded projects in Security and Privacy, and an active member in communities and standards (e.g., expert member of BSI for ISO, UK’s SPRITE+ Network, IoT Security Foundation or Kantara Initiative). He’s a frequent reviewer in conferences and journals, discussion panel participant and co-chair of the COnSeNT workshop (with IEEE Euro S&P). He’s also a consultant, especially interested in working with start-ups and small businesses looking to different approaches to architectures, security and privacy. He is currently a Lecturer with Aston University (UK), looking at real-world problems and designing trusted, secure, efficient and usable systems.
His current research and professional interests are in “Trust”: systems where trust is embedded in services, networks, protocols, interfaces or devices. Cyber-resilience and/or a Privacy-respecting Web are only two examples. We live a world where Trust is an invisible element in society and it is nearly always exploitable. It can bring down a business, a community, or a country, whether it is the Internet, the Enterprise, Cars, Medical devices, Factories or Cities.

Dr. Hai Wang

Dr. Hai Wang is a Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering & Cybersecurity. His research areas of expertise include Knowledge graph, Semantic Web, Machine learning, Formal method, Software engineering. He joined Aston School of Engineering and Applied Science in February 2009, after having spent six years at the University of Southampton and the University of Manchester, where he carried out research in formal software engineering and knowledge-based systems and services. He completed PhD in Computer Sciences at National University of Singapore in July 2004.








Dr. Peng Liu

Dr. Peng Liu is a Lecturer in Statistics at School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Kent. Previously he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, University of Alberta, a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Biostatistics, University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre, a Research Assistant at Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University. He has a PhD in Biostatistics from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Science. His research interests include biostatistics, high dimensional data analysis, functional and neuroimaging data analysis, rank estimation, causal inference, data bridging, matrix factorization, differential privacy, federate learning and reinforcement learning. He has published 5 papers in top computer science conference proceedings and 11 international statistical journals, including 2023 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SIAM SDM), Thirty-Sixth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI 2022), NeurIPS-20 workshop on Scalability, Privacy, and Security in Federated Learning, and 19th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM 2019), Bernoulli, Social Networks, Statistica Sinica, Annals of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics, The Canadian Journal of Statistics.
